From a fresh topic
to a clearer thought.
A short speaking practice you can repeat. The same account connects your Android app, iPhone app and web practice.
1. Sign in and choose your practice
Use the same sign-in method you use on your phone. Choose your topic preferences and whether you want video or audio. On the web, allow microphone access and, for video, camera access.
2. Check your frame
On the website, use the camera preview to centre yourself with a little space around your head and shoulders. A desktop webcam records in landscape when its camera supports it. Phone apps use their usual portrait recording flow.
3. Hear the topic and speak
The topic is read twice, followed by a 3–2–1 countdown. Speak for about two minutes. Green appears at 1:00, yellow at 1:30 and red at 2:00. Recording stops at 2:30.
4. Choose when to use feedback
Your recording doesn't automatically spend an evaluation. Listen back and submit the speech you want feedback on. During an active pass, you can practise several times before choosing an evaluation.
5. Review, save and return
Read your strengths, improvements, transcript and next step. Download your recording and evaluation report. Your synced feedback and account access are available when you sign in elsewhere; the original recording stays on the device where you made it.
Browser storage can be cleared or limited, especially in private browsing. Download important recordings. Keep the practice tab visible while recording; switching away ends the take so you can review it.
